We’re a local Baptist Church and local ministry is important to us. Jesus shows us that God is a God who comes near to you – he doesn’t just wait for you to find your way to him. So we like to find ways to bring the love and message of God to our local community.
Apart from our Sunday meetings, Strewth! Youth, Spark! Kids Club and ministry in the nearby War Veterans Home, we open our Centre for community use including a local playgroup (started by some of our young mums but not “owned” by the church) and dance school (who said Baptists aren’t into dancing?).
We support and finance CPS Workers and seminars in local schools, “Be YourSelf” – a social group for women, ESL classes, and more.
